True Ingenuity Consulting, LLC started in 2004 by Timothy Tinkham who is the current president with members having over 30 years of experience in the information technology business. Our company is located in Mooresville, NC and has a remote business model. Our consultants go to the customer or in many cases will connect remotely to solve problems. This allows us to keep overhead low and hire quality consultants. Much of our member experience comes from working for fortune 500 companies and higher education institutions, utilizing the latest technologies available.

At True Ingenuity Consulting we care about the long term success of our customers and listen to their thoughts and ideas. We look at the big picture and partner with our customers to provide information about solutions so that our customers can make informed decisions on the directions they want to go that is the best fit for them. We will never dictate what the solution will be but rather take a partnership approach where all ideas are heard and discussed. The ideas of our customers are important to us and we will never belittle ideas presented by non-technical people. We strive to interpret often complex technical information in a way that makes sense. We think out of the box to come up with effective, affordable and maintainable solutions to present. True Ingenuity Consulting will follow through with projects to ensure success and will never leave customers hanging with failed implementations.

We have internal systems designed to tightly track every request or issue no matter how small so that nothing falls through the cracks. Customers can log into their own accounts via the web at True Ingenuity that allows them to submit and track their service requests. With large projects, customers can monitor progress and view status updates written by consultants on the job.

Our Philosophy

Large companies with high-end technical consultants generally do not go after the small to medium-size business market because the margins are too low and they have much overhead to support. True Ingenuity Consulting, LLC uses a remote model so that our consulting fees go to providing the best consultants rather than fancy buildings and multiple levels of management. This is how we are able to provide high-end fortune 500-level support at rates that small businesses can afford. The remote model is also why we use a PO box rather than a street address.

Most information technology support businesses attempt to maintain the customer relationship at the corporate level frequently assigning new consultants to a customer project. This is done so that lower paid consultants don’t leave and take valuable customer business with them. True Ingenuity Consulting, LLC encourages a strong relationship between our consultants and customers. Our consultants work as an extension of our customers’ own personnel. We treat our consultants well in order to minimize the possibility of them wanting to seek employment elsewhere. This is better for our customers because we provide more consistent, expert support with little turnover.
